The Ballerina house
The Ballerina House is a lighting architecture project where custom rammed earth fixtures become an organic extension of the space.
Each piece was crafted to match the house’s proportions, blending seamlessly with its design.
Inside the layers of rammed earth, we embedded elements from the surrounding landscape—local soil, rocks, and calcite—creating a tangible connection between the house and its environment. This fusion of material and place grounds the design in its natural context, making the light fixtures more than just functional objects; they become part of the home’s story.
The lighting is created using a combination of two techniques: the ancient building method of rammed earth and the precision of 3D-printed molds, bridging tradition and modern craftsmanship.
